In 2017, dozens of drag queens from RuPaul's Drag Race descended upon Lima, Peru, performing to sold-out audiences month after month. What began as entertainment soon evolved into a cultural movement that mobilized, energized, and empowered the Peruvian LGBTQ+ community in ways that were previously unimaginable.
