Bukuru and Butoyi are twins. Butoyi is a brillant student. However, while her brothers go to school, she has to help her mom in daily tasks... Underneath its colourful and cheerful aesthetics, this short film made by 12 girls in Burundi deals with difficult subjects that are more suitable for teenagers. The differences in treatment between girls and boys are well shown in the different activities that a brother and sister have to undertake although they used to do everything together. Violence against women is also dealt with through rape and an unwanted pregnancy.
