Achilles the rabbit is the mayor of Carrotville, a town where everything is a carrot!
Over the course of a five-day workshop, 12 children aged 8 to 12 created a short animated film entitled "Carotte" (carrot). The young filmmakers actively participated in every stage of the process: writing the script, creating the storyboard, recording the soundtrack and producing around 200 drawings (pencil, felt-tip pen and paint)! As cartooning is a very demanding and time-consuming traditional animation technique, the animators offered free animation modules alongside the production. The children were able to create images of their choice and experiment with other animation techniques such as modelling clay, cut-out paper, animated objects, pixilation, etc.
