Tronstad is able to convince the Allies of the Germans' plans and that the Rjukan plant must be destroyed. A small team of Norwegian soldiers - code name "Grouse" - is sent ahead to prepare everything on site for the British commando soldiers of Operation Freshman. While the new plant manager, Erik Henriksen, faces sabotage, Heisenberg travels to Denmark, where his friend and mentor Niels Bohr implores him to drop out of the Germans' project. Meanwhile, Operation Freshman launches toward Norway....
